Weekend Masses are now at:
4:30 PM Saturday
7:15, 8:30 & 11 AM Sunday.
The 10 AM Sunday Mass has been discontinued.
We no longer require sign-ups for Mass.
During the 8:30 & 11 AM Sunday Masses, you have the option of parking in the church lot, and listening to the Mass on your radio at 87.9 FM. A minister will bring Communion to you.
Masks are optional. We have air purifiers. The 4:30 PM Saturday Mass and daily Masses are livestreamed on Facebook (see link above).
If you prefer to wear a mask, please continue to do so. And, of course, stay home if you feel sick. CDC gudlines for testing, isolation, mask wearing, etc., are at: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/index.html
Our beloved director for 29.5 years, Theresa Paul, is ready to retire at the end of June. We are looking for someone who can learn to fill her shoes. Experience with teaching, a passion for Catholic faith formation for children and adults, and good leadership and communication skills are needed. It is a full-time, salaried position.

Donate very lightly used and/or new household items for people relocating to Spokane and Pullman. Please bring only items from our list compiled from two refugee resettlement organizations. Click here to see the list of items, or it can be picked up at church, or emailed/mailed to you by request.
Or give a monetary donation online, https://www.sacredheartpullman.org/online-giving, (choose "Local Refugee Resettlement") or write a check made out to "Sacred Heart Parish", and designated for Refugee Resettlement.
Please bring donated items to the St. Charles Room. (the second classroom downstairs). If you need help getting them down the stairs, bring them before Mass, or call ahead to the RE Office (509-332-4402) during the week between 9 AM and 3 PM and someone will help you.

If the donated items cannot be used by the refugees, they will be placed with other local organizations, such as Family Promise, ATVP, etc. We are working with Community Congregational Church and WSU, at least for the people coming into Pullman.
Also, if anyone wants to help with this project, all help is gladly accepted.
If you are a Whitman County resident who needs help with utilities, food, rent, gas, furniture, etc., please contact the parish office at 509-332-5312 (leave a message) or email Mary Sutherland. The office will contact one of our St. Francis Guild members. They will listen to your situation and help to the extent that they can, and/or connect you with other resources.
